Our latest committee meeting was led by our new Chair in the historic and beautiful surroundings of the Senior Rates Mess onboard HMS Victory. It was a thoughtful and energising session, fuelled by tea, cake, and a shared commitment to our community!

Discussions focused on the support needs of our diverse membership of Widows: while widowers are warmly welcomed, our current membership comprises female spouses and partners. We explored immediate priorities, longer-term planning, and the ongoing challenge of ensuring every voice is heard, especially amidst the deeply personal and varied experiences of bereavement.

There’s much still to do, but we’re buoyed by the generosity of our incredible volunteers, who continue to offer their time, energy, and passion to this vital work.
